My name is Paul Wind (Firefighter) at Fort Monmouth Fire & Emergency
Services (Monmouth County, NJ) and the Chairman of the IAFF Local F-103
Honor Guard. We have corresponded in the past as well as with Tom Braumuller
(Fire Inspector) and you recently sent us a flag and pins and we are very
appreciative of this gesture.

I am sure your calendar is filling fast with memorial services and
dedications on the eve of our nations worst tragedy. In light of this, I
wanted to inform you that Monmouth County is holding a Memorial Service on
September 4th at the Brookdale Community College. Monmouth County had lost
147 people (2nd largest loss of life to a county in NJ) on 9-11. As a former
resident of Freehold, I am sure you know the community and the impact they
suffered. The Board of Chosen Freeholders requested our services and we
gladly stepped forth to take this challenge. During our meeting, we showed
the directors the 9-11 flag and they filled with emotions. In fact, the flag
will fly solo during this event. I have given your name to Freeholder,
Thomas J. Narozanick and Paul Zigo (Brookdale Community College). Again,
they were emotional pleased that such a beautiful and patriotic flag will
bless this event.

Your attendance would be of a great virtue to all the families of Monmouth County.
